The creator of READY, SET, GO POTTY!, Sally Neuberger is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of clinical experience with children and parents. Her innovative coaching approach to potty training developmentally ready pre-schoolers in a three day weekend requires developmental readiness, parental ability to cheerlead rather than direct, humor, patience and fun. Sally guides eager parents through the READY, SET, GO POTTY! process in her metro D.C. potty training workshops, as well as via individual telephone coaching. Sally has worked with parents of multiples, parents of reluctant poopers and resistant sitters, and offers counseling support to children who require more emotional support around this important skill.

Sally Neuberger is a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland where she works with preschool and elementary-aged children and their families. Her expertise in the field of potty training came from her work with speech- and language-delayed preschoolers who had difficulty accomplishing the developmental task of potty training. Sally’s potty training strategies expanded over time to include typical youngsters, and the three-day-weekend approach for developmentally ready youngsters was born.

Originally from Chicago, Sally Neuberger received her MSW in 1980 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Upon receiving her degree, she worked in a variety of maternal/child health and parenting programs in the Chicago area. For the past 19 years Sally has been the head of a metro Washington, D.C. school counseling program for learning disabled and autism spectrum students. Sally annually presents 25 professional and parenting workshops on Potty Training in a Weekend, as well as a variety of child development topics, including behavioral issues and anxiety in young children. Sally provides regular weekend coaching to families who are potty training, as well as counseling support to families experiencing potty obstacles. She maintains a private practice where she works with young children and their parents.

Ms. Neuberger is the proud parent of two adult sons and one pooch, all of whom were potty trained with minimal effort!
